Bollywood’s famous producer Boney Kapoor divorced his first wife and Arjun Kapoor’s mother Mona Shourie Kapoor and married Sridevi. Due to this, Arjun Kapoor had to go through stress during his school days. In fact, the actor recalled the days when his best friends in school used to ask him about his ‘new mother’ Sridevi.

Arjun Kapoor while talking to Bollywood Bubble said, ‘I have gone through personal grief, trauma and turmoil. When I was growing up, I had to go through the separation of my parents. It was very difficult for me at that point of time because my father was a high profile man and the woman he decided to be with was India’s biggest superstar.


Arjun Kapoor further said, ‘How does it feel to be a new mother by your best friends in school? It’s not easy. This makes you more sensitive about things. this is reality. I have fought with it.’

Boney Kapoor married Mona Suri in the year 1983 and divorced in 1996. He has son Arjun Kapoor and daughter Anshula Kapoor from this marriage. Then Boney Kapoor married Sridevi for the second time in the year 1996. Sridevi died in the year 2018. He has two daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor from his second marriage.

Talking about Arjun Kapoor’s work front, he will now be seen in the film ‘Ek Villain 2’ and the film ‘Bhoot Police’. Arjun Kapoor’s film ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ and film ‘Sardar Ka Grandson’ have been released this year.
