New Delhi: Famous South Indian singer Kalyani Menon has died at the age of 70. She did not feel well for a while and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai for paralysis.
His immensely popular songs include Ritu Bhedakalpana, Jalasayyayil and Pavanarachezhuthunnu.
His son Rajeev Menon is a renowned director and cinematographer.
Kalyani began her career as a classical singer in the 1970s and began her career as a film singer.
She entered the film music industry in 1973 and made her debut with Thoppil Bhasi’s Abala.
She made her Tamil debut in 1979 with Sivaji Ganesan’s Good Family.
