Veteran actor of Bollywood Dilip Kumar was admitted to PD Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday due to difficulty in breathing. Though his condition is stable now, he was not discharged on Saturday. Dilip Kumar’s wife Saira Banu told that her husband is still in the ICU. He said, ‘We want to take him home but we are waiting for the approval of the doctors. He will not be given leave today.

Dilip Kumar’s family friend Faizal Farooqui had told our colleague ETimes on Friday, ‘Given his age, the family does not want to take any kind of risk. Therefore, he has been admitted to the hospital as a precaution. Presently he is in ICU and is already fine.

Let us inform that 98-year-old Dilip Kumar was admitted to this hospital in early June due to difficulty in breathing. Dilip Kumar was also kept on oxygen support for a few days. He was later discharged from the hospital on June 11.

Dilip Kumar has worked in many great films of the Hindi film industry. He still rules the hearts of people in his hit films like ‘Mughal-e-Azam’, ‘Devdas’, ‘Naya Daur’ and ‘Ram Aur Shyam’. Dilip Kumar was last seen in the 1998 film Qila.
